North Carolina Hunter Safety Certification
North Carolina Hunter Safety Certification is offered through the Environmental and Natural Resources I class. Students must have at least six hours of in class instruction and demonstrate safe firearms handling skills. Students must also take and pass the test with an 80 or better. This will allow students to obtain their hunting license and hunt in other states as well. It is required by law to have this certification before you can get your hunting license when you turn 16. If a student were to have a lifetime license it will allow them to get their game tags when they turn 16.
